The best part of the Super Bowl is the annual swipe file they create for me each year.
And yesterday, some great â and some not-so-great â commercials hit my TV screen, so I wanted to feature two today and for a couple more issues.
To kick us off, weâre going to start with one of the best commercials this year: Budweiser.
Budweiserâs Clydesdales commercials have regularly been one of the most beloved commercials each year.
Theyâre typically found in the top 5 Super Bowl commercial lists.
This year, Budweiser smashed the ad again in their âAmerican Iconsâ ad.
You can watch the full ad here.

Budweiserâs ad tells the story of a Clydesdale foal who meets an unidentified baby bird that fell out of its nest.
As the horse gets a little older, it shelters the bird through a storm and befriends it.
In a quick montage, you watch the bird riding on its friendâs back over the years, as they both grow up.
Fast forward to the present⊠and you see the now-grown horse jumping up with majestic wings behind it â like a pegasus.
Finally, you see an American eagle riding on the horseâs back soar overhead â and you realize itâs the baby bird.
To celebrate Budweiserâs 150th anniversary, the commercial closes with the tagline: Made of America. For 150 years, this budâs for you.
The commercial ends with two men watching the scene â and one is so moved, he pretends the sun is in his eyes.
The entire narrative unfolds to Lynyrd Skynyrdâs song âFree Bird.â
The ad works because of the powerful storytelling that reveals both animals as American icons in a single breathtaking moment.
The Clydesdale represents Budweiserâs own heritageâstrength, reliability, and hard work.
The eagle represents America itselfâfreedom, power, and grit.
By nurturing the eagle, Budweiser shows itâs been serving the American people for 150 years.
The dual reveal reframes the brand from just a beer to an American institution.
This storytelling transforms a brand anniversary into a powerful reminder of Budweiser's longstanding legacy with America.
The best brands donât just celebrate milestones â they celebrate what theyâve created.
Budweiser yet again created one of the best Super Bowl commercials this year.
This next ad easily wins the trophy for âThe Worst 2026 Super Bowl Ad.â
